God of Destruction Beerus

The saga takes place shortly after the defeat of Kid Buu. It begins with Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, awakening from a long slumber. Prompted by a prophetic dream and the Oracle Fish, Beerus and his attendant Whis travel across the universe in search of a "Super Saiyan God".

Golden Frieza Saga

A natural prodigy who had never needed to train before, Frieza achieved this form by undergoing his first-ever intense training regimen for four months while seeking revenge against Goku. He chose the color gold to mock the Super Saiyan transformation and to signify his position at the "top of the universe's pecking order".

Universe 6 Saga

The saga begins when Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, visits his twin brother Beerus. Discovering that Universe 7's Earth has delicious food while his own Earth is a wasteland, Champa challenges Beerus to a martial arts tournament.

Copy-Vegeta Saga

The story follows Goten and Trunks as they are accidentally stowed away on Monaka's delivery ship to Planet Pot-au-feu. On this planet, an ancient, malevolent liquid weapon called Commeson (Superhuman Water) is unleashed.

"Future" Trunks Saga

The story begins in Future Trunks' devastated timeline, where a powerful figure known as Goku Black has brought humanity to the brink of extinction. Trunks narrowly escapes to the past in a time machine after his mother, Future Bulma, is killed by Black.

Universe Survival Saga

At Goku's suggestion, the Omni-Kings (Zeno) organize a tournament involving the eight universes with the lowest "mortal levels".
